As AI agents steal the limelight for more existential matters, Howdy.com surveyed knowledge workers on how AI agents work on the day-to-day. Here are some highlights from the report:

° 67% use AI agents; 16% made their agents themselves.

° 96% say their agents save time, but:

° Workers spend an average of 3h per week fixing their agents.

° 52% say their agents fail sometimes or frequently.

° Among the 1 in 4 who had to deactivate their agents, 7% indicated they did so because the agents “went rogue”

Overall, 71% say that fewer than half the agents they’ve worked with actually make it to long-term deployment, with 29% saying less than 1 in 4 make it.
