How to change the aspect ratio of photos in iOS 26

You can choose between 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9 aspect ratios of photos. Let’s look at how to do this in iOS 26.

1. Open Camera  on your iPhone.
2. Swipe up from the camera modes at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap Aspect, then tap again to switch between 1:1, 4:3, or 16:9 ratios.
4. Tap the screen outside of the menu to close it.
