How to use the Genmoji creation feature in visionOS 26

With visionOS 2.4, the Genmoji feature allows Vision Pro users to create emoji by simply typing or speaking a description into the emoji keyboard.

The Genmoji feature in visionOS 26 allows Vision Pro users to create emoji by simply typing or speaking a description into the emoji keyboard.

Genmoji can be added inline to messages, shared as a sticker, or sent as a Tapback. To create a Genmoji in visionOS:

° Open any app where you can type, like Messages, and tap the emoji icon to switch to the emoji keyboard.

° Tap the Genmoji icon (usually a smiley face with a small “+” symbol) in the upper-right corner of the emoji keyboard.

° Type a description of the emoji you want to create in the “Describe a Genmoji” field. For example, “purple giraffe riding a unicycle.”

° After seeing the results of your initial description, you can alter your Genmoji simply by changing the description in the New Genmoji screen.

° Swipe through to find the Genmoji you want to use, then tap “Add” to insert it into your message or other apps.
