Apple will release iPad Airs with OLED displays next year, according to Korea-based ET News.
The report says Samsung will provide the panels for the displays. Following the iPad Pro and iPad mini, the entire lineup of tablets except the general model, will be using OLED displays once the iPad Air makes the transition.
In March Apple released a new iPad Air with a M4 processor and more memory. The starting price is US$599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch model. For education, the 11-inch iPad Air starts at $549, and the 13-inch model starts at $749.
