9to5Mac notes that iOS 26.2 beta 1 arrived yesterday, and hidden in the release’s code, there’s reference to “Apple Creator Studio.”
It’s unclear what “Apple Creator Studio” might entail. 9to5Mac surmises that it might be a rebranding of Pixelmator Pro, Apple’s image editor designed exclusively (for now, anyway) for the Mac. It’s marketed towards photographers, designers, illustrators, and video editors, and offers features comparable to Adobe Photoshop.
Pixelmator Pro incorporates non-destructive editing, layer support, and machine learning tools. With rumors of Pixelmator Pro coming to the iPad, perhaps Apple is giving it a new name for iPadOS and macOS versions.
