visionOS 26 provides an update packed with new spatial experiences and new features for the Apple Vision Pro. One of the best features: vastly improved “Personas.”
Apple has significantly overhauled Personas with a rebuilt engine that captures more of a user’s head for realistic side profiles and improved details like hair, lashes, complexion, and freckles. The new, more expressive Personas offer greater customization and realism for applications like FaceTime and collaborative workspaces, providing a much more natural-feeling digital representation of the user.
The new Persona engine makes these digital replicas of their users look real in a way that the previous versions didn’t. Despite its flaws, I’m a big fan of the Apple Vision Pro. And visionOS 26 has only made me a bigger fan.
