Don’t look for Apple Intelligence features to be incorporate into watchOS 12

Don’t look for Apple Intelligence fathers to be incorporate into watchOS 12.

The Apple Watch won’t be gaining Apple Intelligence on its hardware directly anytime soon, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says in his latest “Power On” newsletter.

However, watchOS 12 will be able to display results from the technology that’s powered on a user’s other devices, he adds. Previous reports have claimed that the next of the Apple Watch’s  operating system will adopt the visionOS-inspired style changes planned for macOS 16, iPadOS 19, and iPhoneOS 19.

Those changes still seem likely. However, previous reports that watchOS 12would add visual intelligence features were premature, says Gurman.

This info from Gurman is from the free edition of “Power On”. If you like it, consider subscribing to Bloomberg.com—you’ll receive the newsletter earlier and get exclusive access to a Q&A section.
