Apple’s iPhone 18 lineup will introduce a major leap in memory performance, according to Weibo-based leaker Digital Chat Station — as noted by MacRumors.

From the (translated) post: The iPhone 17 series requires full Apple Intelligence and AI on a large scale, so it will have 12GB of memory on a large scale. With the A19 Pro of TSMC N3p, the performance should be significantly improved.

In addition, from the supply chain, the iPhone 18 series will launch a 6-channel LPDDR5X with large memory next year, and the performance section has begun to develop.

Other rumors about the iPhone 18 models, which will arrive in 2026:

° Their A20 chips will be manufactured with TSMC’s 2nm process.

° They will sport the C2 modem, a follow-up to Apple’s C1 modem.

° They will pack a 3nm A20 processor updated for Apple Intelligence.

° Apple’s A20 chip in iPhone 18 models will switch from the previous InFo (Integrated Fan-Out) packaging to WMCM (Wafer-Level Multi-Chip Module) packaging.

° Memory will be upgraded to 12GB.
