The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has named Apple as its 2025 Creative Marketer of the Year, reports AdWeek.
This is the second time the tech giant has received the honor, following its win in 2019. The award has been given annually since 1992 and recognizes “a marketer that has amassed a body of iconic, Lion-winning work over a sustained period of time,” per a release from Cannes Lions.
“This honor is about recognizing those marketers who are being bold, brave, and pushing boundaries — and Apple continues to do this in spades,” Cannes Lions chief executive officer (CEO) Simon Cook said in a statement.
Over the years, Apple has amassed Lions for its brands, products, and services. Last year, it won numerous awards for campaigns including “Shot on iPhone” (five Lions) and “Relax: Tractor” (gold and silver Lions), across disciplines like brand experience and activation, digital craft, entertainment, film, health and wellness, and media, notes AdWeek.
