How to use Genmoji in iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2

iOS 18.2 and iPadOS 18.2 have a fun new feature: Genmoji, which allows you to create a custom emoji right from the keyboard.

Genmoji are synced in your sticker drawer across all your devices with iCloud. Let’s look at how to use the feature:

° Launch any text-based message.

° Tap the emoji icon on your keyboard. The Genmoji feature is integrated alongside your regular emoji options. Tap its icon to access it.

° Type a description of what you want your emoji to look like. The more details you provide, the better your results will be.

° Tap Done to create your new Genmoji. Be patient while they’re being created.

° Once they’re generated, you can swipe to view your choices.

° Once you’ve selected the Genmoji you want, tap the Add button in the top right corner to add it to your message thread.

Note: if you long press on the Genmoji you have the option to copy, share, or save it to your stickers.
