The US$59 SnapStand Selfie, like the SnapPocket Light, is a nice accessory for folks that, unlike me, like to take selfies.
However, it’s also good for other users. In addition to being a selfie stick, it can easily transform into a tripod. That’s the feature that I use the most.
The SnapStand Selfie has a tilt angle of 45 degrees, which makes it easy to snap pics or film videos at various angles. It has an extendable arm that can stretch out 6.7 inches, and the tripod leg can extend up to 30 inches.
You can pair with with your iPhone and use it as a Bluetooth remote, which facilities selfies. It’s compatible with MagSafe and magnetic cases. In my tests with an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a slim case, the smartphone stayed securely attached.
I won’t be using the SnapStand for individual selfies. However, the tripod feature will come in handy for family photos at holiday and vacation time.
