Feral Interactive says “Sid Meier’s Railroads!” is now available as a “try before you buy” app for iOS and Android.
Here’s how the game is described: Budding tycoons can now build out the first 20 years of the Southwest US scenario without risking a cent of their own cash, allowing them to create supply chains, invest in industries and battle rival barons to get their railway empires underway. With the California Gold Rush in full swing, competition with the great industrialists of the age will be fierce, as players construct tracks, link cities and industries, and build a railway of their dreams to lay the foundations of economic dominance.
Players wishing to take their fledgling networks into the full Sid Meier’s Railroads! game can do so via a single in-app purchase, with saved game data from the demo transported across seamlessly. All 16 scenarios, 40 real-world engines and the endlessly replayable Train Table Mode will also be unlocked, allowing players to expand into new locations, and manage cargo and passengers on trains from the early 19th century to the present day.
“Sid Meier’s Railroads!” is now free-to-try for iOS and Android via the App Store and Google Play Store. The full game unlock is available via in-app purchase for $12.99
