Meghan Markle’s ‘Pearl’ animated series could land at Apple TV+

Meghan Markle is trying to find a new TV home — possibly at Apple TV+ — for her cartoon series, “Pearl,” which Netflix axed earlier this month, according to The Sun.

The Duchess of Sussex’s show was officially cancelled by the streaming giant in a series of cutbacks. Meghan and executive producer David Furnish  are purportedly reviewing the project to see where else it could find a home. The Sun says they’ll be pitching the series concept to other TV networks and streamers including Apple and Amazon.

Hailing from Markle and Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions banner, Pearl is to be “a family series that centers on the adventures of a 12-year-old girl who finds inspiration in a variety of influential women throughout history.”
