“Quick Notes” in iPadOS 15 offer a new way to jot down notes on any app or website systemwide. The goal, according to Apple, “is to make it easy to capture thoughts and ideas wherever inspiration strikes.”
With Quick Notes, you can do things such as add links from an app to a Quick Note to create context — even on a website in Safari or an address in Maps. And you don’t have to be using the dedicates Notes app to use the feature.
To start a Quick Notes:
° Swipe up from the bottom right of the tablet’s screen with a finger.
° If you have an Apple Pencil, press in the iPad’s bottom right corner and drag a Quick Note up into view.
° If you’re using an external keyboard such as the Magic Keyboard (which I use), hold down the Globe key and tap Q.
You can drag the Quick Note anywhere on your iPad’s screen. And if you have an Apple Pencil, you can write or draw on the note.
You can close the Quick Note if you wish. Or you can latch onto the grab handle in the middle of the note’s top bar and drag it off the side of the screen. It’s n
