Apple surveying Chinese users about iPad mini screen size preferences

According to the Chinese language site, ITHome, Apple is surveying Chinese users about their preference for the iPad mini screen size. The tech giant asks, ”What do you think of the size of the ‌iPad mini‌ 4’s display? Is it too small, just right, or too big?”

Depending on which report you believe, the next gen iPad mini will arrive later this year or in early 2022. I’d bet on the latter if Apple is currently seeking input on screen size.

Last month Ross Young at Display Supply Chain Consultants tweeted that the upcoming iPad mini will feature an 8.3-inch display, an increase from the current 7.9-inch screen. He says that’s facilitated by narrower bezels and the removal of the Home button.

This is one of many recent rumors about the expected update of the smallest Apple tablet. For example, the sixth generation iPad mini will sport a mini-LED display, according to DigiTimes.
