In a note to clients — as noted by MacRumors — analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that Apple will release a new 13-inch MacBook Air with a mini-LED display in mid-2022.
The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) agrees that an upgraded Air with such a display is coming next year. However, I think it will arrive in the spring, not mid-year.
Speaking of the MacBook Air, the update will feature a completely new design and come in a range of colors like the 24-inch iMac, according to leaker Jon Prosser. Also, look for the updated laptop to pack the successor to Apple’s M1 processor.
