Apple CEO Tim Cook to speak Thursday at CPDP, a data protection conference

Apple CEO Tim Cook will give a statement at this year’s EU data protection conference CPDP, which focuses on computer, privacy and data protection, according to Macerkopf. He’ll speak on “Enforcement of rights in a changing world” on Thursday, Jan. 28.

The virtual event takes place in Brussels (Belgium). CPDP is a non-profit platform originally founded in 2007 by research groups from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the Université de Namur and Tilburg University.

CPDP says the conference “gathers academics, lawyers, practitioners, policy-makers, industry and civil society from all over the world in Brussels, offering them an arena to exchange ideas and discuss the latest emerging issues and trends.”
