There are more protective cases around, but the TENC Air for the new iPhones from Just Mobile offers reasonable protection at a reasonable price ($24.95). In fact, the price is five dollars less than the cases for the 2018 Apple smartphones.
The clear case perfectly lines up with the smartphone’s edges (the top two corners are completely covered, and the bottom two corners are covered to the curve). The no-frills case offers protection while offering easy access to all ports, buttons, switches.
The TENC’s abrasion resistant coating keeps the case looking sharp, while it’s shockproof thermoplastic frame and anti-scratch hardshell case protects it from drops, scrapes, and dust. It’s semi-flexible material makes it easy to install and remove. And it’s wireless charger compatible.
I also like the way the TENC feels. It’s adds some “grippability” when holding my iPhone 11 Pro Max. The only downside is that it doesn’t totally protect the smartphone’s display though has a raised bevel edge around the iPhone screen that prevents any desktop surface from scraping the screen. For that you’ll have to pay extra for a screen protector.
However, you can still apply such a protector after installing the TENC case. The Air case is compatible with most screen protectors in the market and grips the screen edge minimally so it doesn’t encroach on the space covered by full-coverage screen protectors.
