mophie’s charge stream travel kit is a great travel accessory (though it’s also handy for home use) for Qi-enabled devices when you’re traveling, thanks to the portable-sized charge stream pad mini.
The svelte universal charge stream travel kit sports everything you need to wirelessly charge your iPhone on-the-go. In addition to the aforementioned charge stream pad mini, it includes a 2.4A wall charger, a 2.4A car charger, and a 4.9 ft USB-A to Micro-USB cable. A travel pouch lets you stow away the 2.37 x 2.37 x 0.8 inch travel kit. It only weighs 1.4 ounces, so you can easily toss it in a suitcase or overnight bag.
The charge stream pad mini delivers a 5W charge to any Qi-enabled smartphone. To use, place your iPhone X, iPhone 8, or iPhone 8 Plus on the pad; charging begins immediately. Its rubberized, non-slip grip and micro suction pad keeps the smartphone from sliding around and helps prevent scratches.
The charge stream pad mini can deliver a charge through cases up to 3mm thick. For example, it worked fine with the Leather Folio on my iPhone X. And the
car charger that comes with the travel kit lets you power up your devices while in a car.
The downside to the charge stream pad mini is that it only supplies 5W to your Qi-enabled smartphone, whereas mophie’s $59.99 charge stream pad+ delivers 10W and will charge a lot faster. If you have the need for speed when it comes to charging, that’s the device for you.

The charge stream pad mini may also be purchased separately for $24.95, but I recommend the entire travel kit; it’s worth the extra $25. Both products include a two-year warranty.
