WWDC: Apple now has over 13 million developers

In his opening statements at the Worldwide Developer Conference keynotes, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that Apple now has 13 million Apple developers. 

Apple has added two million developers in the past year alone. Over 70% at the 2016 WWDC are attending a conference for the first time. The youngest attendee is only nine.

Cook added that at the Apple App Store now has two million apps that have been downloaded 130 billion times. The Apple App Store is about to pass the $50 billion mark that’s been paid directly to developers.
