WaterField Designs releases Magnetic Laptop Sleeve for M2 MacBook Air

WaterField Designs has announced its US$89 Magnetic Laptop Sleeve for the 13-inch M2 Apple MacBook Air with waxed canvas, a water-resistant ballistic nylon lining, and a 4mm shock-absorbing neoprene padded interior.

WaterField owner Gary Waterfield says rare earth magnets run the length of the opening to securely enclose the laptop with a “quiet, satisfying snap.” Available in either a vertical or a horizontal orientation, the MacBook Air laptop sleeve slides into backpacks or into briefcases and messenger bags.

A full-length rear pocket can hold cords, wallet, phone or other accessories. A full-grain leather hand grip at the bottom of the sleeve is designed for comfort when carrying or removing the laptop and adds a bit of extra protection when setting the laptop down. An optional strap converts the sleeve into a minimalist stand-alone shoulder bag.

The Magnetic Laptop Sleeve is available in brown waxed canvas with full-grain grizzly leather hand grip; green or black waxed canvas with full-grain black leather hand grip; navy blue waxed canvas with full-grain chocolate leather hand grip. It measures 15 x 9 x 0.875 inches and weighs 16 ounces. You can pre-order now; shipping starts July 15.
