VR Panda’s Comfort Module didn’t relieve my Vision Pro nose/cheek discomfort

VR Panda has released a head strap accessory for the Apple Vision Pro. The US$19 Comfort Module accessory works with the Dual Loop Band that comes with the spatial computer.

My discomfort in wearing the Vision Pro for long periods comes from the pressure on my nose, checkbones not from a sore neck as many have experienced. I hoped the Comfort Module would alleviate, or at least lessen, this, but, alas, it didn’t.

The VR Panda product adds memory foam to both straps to make wearing the headset more tolerable during longer sessions. The folks at VR Panda says it has soft, high-quality, slow-rebound memory foam on top to reduce head pressure. What’s more, the back of the head has a larger and more comfortable circular back cushion with soft memory foam.

Even though it adds a bit more bulk, it’s likely to help folks who have neck soreness from wearing the spatial computer. However, connecting the Comfort Module to the Vision Pro does move the latter’s light seal slightly, so you’ll likely have to adjust your eye set-up.

It didn’t help with my needs, but if it sounds like it would help with yours, the Comfort Module is available in black, orange, white, and blue colors.
