Twelve South introduces MagicBride for Apple extended keyboards

Twelve South has launched the US$49.99 MagicBridge Extended, which turns your Magic Keyboard with Numeric Keypad and Magic Trackpad 2 into a one-piece control surface.

It holds the keyboard and trackpad together, keeping them from sliding apart. You can position the trackpad to the left or right of keyboard. And the MagicBridge Extended offers access to power switches and Lightning charging ports

Since MagicBridge and MagicBridge Extended hold your Apple keyboard and trackpad together as one stable unit, you can use it on any flat work surface or conference room table. Or on your lap.

The  MagicBridge Extended is available in white or black to complement Silver and Space Gray Magic Keyboards with Numeric Keypad.

  • Since I have both devices, I paid a little attention.
However, I only put them together for esthetic reasons, when cleaning my desk. When working, they are angled and at distance, for better accommodation of my hands/fingers.
    So: count me out
