These minimal iPhone XS Max cases are Totallee impressive

In a way, it’s sad. Everyone goes out of their way to get the latest and greatest iPhone and would love to show it off, but they realize that it needs protection so they cover it up with a case. Today I’m looking at three minimal iPhone XS Max cases from Totallee, a California-based case manufacturer, with several options that let the beauty of your iPhone shine through.

If there’s anything that irritates me about some iPhone cases, it’s when the manufacturer decides to label the darned things with their own logo or name. I want a case that shows off the iPhone and doesn’t act as an unpaid advertisement for a case manufacturer. That’s what you get with the Thin cases from Totallee, which are available for $29.

These cases are very thin — 0.02” (0.51mm) thin for all but the clear cases, which are just 0.03” (0.76mm). That thinness contributes to a very light weight as well: 0.1 ounces (2.8 grams).

The cases come in five different matte finishes — frosted clear, frosted black, solid black, navy blue, and red. There are also two glossy finishes — soft clear and jet black — and a black leather finish. In the slideshow below, you can see the glossy soft clear (my personal favorite), frosted clear, and frosted black iPhone XS Max cases.

It’s back yet again. The discontinued iPhone SE is back in the Apple online store’s Clearance section. It’s obviously popular, so, c’mon Apple, just give us the iPhone SE 2.

Various online reports say that Apple Pay, Apple’s mobile payment service, is rolling out to users in Saudi Arabia and the Czech Republic.

According to analysts from Rosenblatt Securities in an investor note seen by AppleInsider, Apple’s attempts to boost its iPhone sales in China via price cuts offered only a temporary effect, according to Rosenblatt Securities, with post Chinese New Year sales reportedly seeing little in the way of improvement in a depressed smartphone market.

As part of its efforts to rebuild Apple Maps, Apple has been collecting street-level data with LiDAR-equipped vehicles for over three years, with at least 45 states across the U.S. partially surveyed to date, according to MacRumors

Apple has released the third developer betas of iOS 12.2, watchOS 5.2, and tvOS 12.2. Registered developers can download the betas via Apple’s developer portal. Or they can be downloaded over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center.

Apple’s software update to get around an alleged Qualcomm patent violation undermines its case against a ban on U.S. iPhone imports, the chipmaker says.
