The Geo Wallet is kinda expensive, but it does have several nifty features

The Geo Wallet is kinda expensive, but it does have several nifty features.

ESRs’ US$49.99 Geo Wallet Stand (HaloLock) is a new, handy wallet designed for MagSafe with full Apple-certified Find My functionality. It’s designed to combine the convenience of MagSafe with the device-locating functionality of AirTag and securely holds up to three cards.

I prefer a case with a built-in wallet such as MUJJO’s $64 Full Leather Wallet Case. And you get a case and a wallet (but no stand) for only $14 more than the Geo Wallet Stand. However, if you already have a case, but want to add a wallet stand, the ESR accessory has several nice features:

  • The Find My functionality allows you to instantly see the Wallet Stand’s real-time location. You can play a sound in the Find My app to find it. Plus, you receive Left Behind notifications
  • The Geo Wallet Stand boasts a 1,500-g magnetic lock — which the folks at ESR say is more than double the strength of the official magnetic Wallet, so it stays strongly attached to your iPhone in most circumstances.
  • It has a lightweight design that attaches to the back of your iPhone.
  • It holds 1–3 cards; you have instant access to them via the small cutout in the bottom
  • The Geo Wallet’s durable hinge opens out smoothly to create a stable stand at any angle between 15° and 170°, portrait or landscape.
  • It offers a reasonably secure grip thanks to a specially designed finger loop on the back. The loop folds flat when you’re ready to stow your iPhone in a pocket or purse.

The Geo Wallet is kinda expensive for a wallet stand, but it does have several nifty features.
