TableEdit is a new spreadsheet app for Mac OS X (and it’s also free)

Yay! It must be freebie day. The CoreCode team has announced TableEdit, a free spreadsheet app for Mac OS X. It offers features such as charts with cell styling, formatting options, and comprehensive import/export capabilities.

TableEdit features a “world-class” Excel-compatible formula system that has been tested on more than a million formulae from over 20,000 Excel-files, according to Samuel Vimes of the CoreCode team. The tool is built exclusively for OS X and takes full advantage of its latest features and technologies, he adds.

TableEdit requires Mac OS X 10.8. It’s available at the product website and the Mac App Store.
