Spark problems due to server upgrades to prepare for a Mac version

Some users of Spark, a free email app, says they’ve been locked out of their Apple IDs overnight. Developer Readdle says the problem is due to server upgrades it’s been making.

In a tweet, the company says there’s no breach or data leak. They’ve been “rolling out new faster servers to iCloud users in order to prepare Spark for the Mac version.”

Spark is a “smart,” unified inbox that collects all of your emails and automatically categorizes them for easy processing. It supposedly works with any email address (though I haven’t tried it). You can connect to your Gmail, Exchange, Yahoo, iCloud, Outlook or any other IMAP email server without worrying.
