Add this to the “iPhone 8” rumors (which number about 2,042, by my count): it will have a “water drop” design that harkens back to the original Apple smartphone to celebrate the iPhone’s 10th anniversary, according to ET News.

Quoting unnamed “industry sources,” the article says Apple will adopt a 3D glass material on the back case of the iPhone 8 that gives its body “gentle, rounded” curves around the top, bottom, left and right edges.
My take on the rumors: Apple will do this only IF it fits it with any other design plans for the iPhone 8. The company isn’t one to do things simply for nostalgia.
