Rumor: iPhone 13 will come with a 25W power adapter (but I’m skeptical)

The iPhone 13 will support faster-charging speeds with a 25W power adapter, according to the Chinese language site, Fast Technology — as noted by AppleInsider.

That sounds nice, but I’m skeptical. The Sellers Research Group (that’s me) thinks the iPhone 13 will “only” support fast charging up to 20W a la the iPhone 12. That said, I’d be happy to be proven wrong.

Other rumors/predictions for the iPhone 13, which is expected in September or October:

° It will have an “always-on” display like the Apple Watch.

° It will adopt the improved Wi-Fi 6E protocol.

° High-end models of the upcoming iPhone 13 lineup will sport an upgraded ultra-wide camera with autofocus.

° Some, perhaps all, models will have LiDAR sensors.

° There may be a 1TB version available.
