Rumor: Apple to release an 11-inch iPad Pro (but I don’t think so)

Apple plans to release an 11-inch iPad Pro with a display at this summer’s Worldwide Developer Conference, according to Taiwan’s Economic Daily News — as noted by MacRumors. This would hint at a replacement for the company’s current 10.5-inch iPad Pro.

Chances this rumor is true, according to the Sellers Research Firm (that’s me): 50%. Apple has a winner with the popular, acclaimed 10.5 incher, so why mess with success? UNLESS a bigger screen can be fit inside the same size case. Instead of an 11-inch iPad Pro, we’ll see a 10.5-inch model with slimmer bezels. This would result in a slightly bigger screen size, so perhaps that would give us an 11-inch iPad Pro with the same dimensions at the current 10.5-inch model.
