Rumor: 2019 iPhones will have a triple-camera config in a square camera bump

According to a rumor at the Japanese language website, Macotakara, as noted by AppleInsider, the 2019 iPhones will pack a triple-camera configuration with the lens in close proximity in a square camera bump.

The article adds that original accessories for the next generation of iPhone are under development, with initial versions featuring a hole on the back side for the enlarged camera bump. The 2019 models will apparently be similar to the current selection offered by the iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone Xr, according to Macotakara. The article adds that Apple may offer dual-camera and triple-camera options.

Changes the rumor is true, according to the Sellers Research Group (that’s me): well, I’m not sure about the square camera bump, but I think there’s a 100% chance that Apple will offer dual-camera and triple-camera options with the former a less pricey choice.
