Reelgood report: Apple TV+ is seeing great success with its original content

Apple TV+’s engagement growth based on a Reelgood report.

A new report from Reelgood, a U.S. movie and TV streaming search engine with five million users, says Apple is seeing great success with its original content. Here are some highlights from the report:

  • For every 10 engagements on the Reelgood platforms in March-June 2021, the average Apple TV+ movie now gets 12 engagements. Apple TV+ movie engagement on Reelgood platforms grew ~20% year-over-year. The growth can be mainly attributed to “CODA.”
  • For every 10 engagements on the Reelgood platforms in March-June 2021, the average Apple TV+ series now gets 14 engagements. Apple TV+ series engagement on Reelgood platforms increased by ~40% year-over-year. The growth can be mainly attributed to “Severance,” “WeCrashed,” and “Slow Horses.”
