Project Zero team finds ‘high severity’ flaw in macOS kernel

Google’s Project Zero team has exposed a “high severity” flaw in macOS’ kernel, according to a Neowin report.

The kernel is a computer program that is the core of a computer’s operating system, with complete control over everything in the system. On most systems, it is one of the first programs loaded on start-up. Project Zero is the name of a team of security analysts employed by Google tasked with finding zero-day vulnerabilities.
