The Pixelmator Team has launched the Pixelmator Pro Upgrade Program, allowing existing Pixelmator users to upgrade to the Pixelmator Pro image editor for Mac, the successor to the Pixelmator image editor.
Pixelmator Pro takes all the original Pixelmator and builds on it with a range of improvements to existing tools and some new ones. One of the most notable changes is the new single-window interface. In addition to the new interface, Pixelmator Pro includes a more modern painting engine with dual-texture brushes, true-to-life paint blending, advanced brush dynamics, and full graphics tablet support.
The Pixelmator Pro Upgrade Bundle is available from the Mac App Store for $49.99 and provides existing users with a discount by subtracting the amount paid for the original Pixelmator from the bundle price, for a total discount of up to 50%.
