OWC launches the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Drive Dock

OWC has launched the Mac compatible, $89.95 USB 3.1 Gen 1 Drive Dock, a tool for creative professionals such as photographers, videographers, and music producers. It’s a solution for those who need constant access to multiple drives, providing a quick and easy way to access data, archive files, perform backups and more.

The USB 3.1 Gen 1 Drive Dock provides a way to access bare SATA drives. You can hot swap, read multiple drives simultaneously, or boot from bare drives, all at the speed of the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface.

Two drive bays accommodate both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch drives and can access a drive in each simultaneously. Each bay features its own independent power switch and LED activity monitor. It boasts a rugged aluminum construction and quiet, fanless operation,
