Oprah and Apple don’t re-up their exclusive multi-year deal (but will apparently still be working together)

Oprah Winfrey’s big multi-year deal with Apple announced in 2018 is ending, and the tech giant isn’t renewing, reports Puck. Still, Oprah and Apple are expected to continue to work together.

Oprah could do things like The Oprah Conversations and the mental health special The Me You Can’t See for AppleTV+, while also moonlighting on different outlets that best matched the projects, the article adds.

In 2018, Apple nnounced a unique, multi-year content partnership with Oprah, the producer, actress, talk show host, philanthropist and CEO of OWN. Together, she and Apple will, per a press release at the time, “create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world.” Winfrey’s projects will be released as part of a lineup of original content from Apple.
