OmniFocus 3.13 can now take full advantage of the new Voice Control features of iOS

The Omni Group released an update to OmniFocus 3 that the company says does something apparently no other apps on Apple’s platform do.

With automation enhancements, OmniFocus 3.13 can now take full advantage of the new Voice Control features offered the latest iOS, iPadOS and macOS releases, delivering an “incredible level of voice-driven productivity,” according to the folks at the Omni Group.

OmniFocus 3.13 provides a range of improvements to Omni Automation—perhaps most notably adding support for Speech Synthesis, but also a number of other improvements as well. The upgrade also addresses a few maintenance issues, but it’s a significant automation-focused release.

OmniFocus 3.13 consolidates numerous advances in Omni Automation, introducing new scripting APIs for Speech Synthesis, System Notifications, Audio Alerts, Read/Write XML, Preferences, Plug-In Credentials, Bookmarks, URL Components, URL Fetch Requests/Responses with Crypto, and new Window class properties for controlling the display of panels. OmniFocus pricing is subscription based: US$9.99/monthly or $99.99 annually. A demo is available for download.
