Notable apps and updates: September 3

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

OWC has announced Jellyfish Manager 2.0, an update of the interface between the user and the Jellyfish servers by OWC.

It works directly with the servers, specialized shared storage devices that allows multiple post-production video editors to work simultaneously with 4K, 6K, and 8K footage. Jellyfish Manager 2.0 sports a new layout focused on organization and a streamlined user interface. The updated design also includes easily accessible menus and deep linking throughout the whole application. System alerts are now readily available from all pages in the app also additional tooltips across the board, and intuitive terminology to speed up the learning process.

A Total War Saga: TROY is now available on Steam for macOS. TROY brings Total War’s mix of grand strategy and real-time battles to the Bronze Age, putting players at the centre of a war of vengeance alongside both heroes and gods.
