Notable apps and updates: September 29

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

Setapp, a Mac app subscription service, says users can now track and improve their workflow, work with content creation: from text to video, or even write code, and more. Also, there are more updates to the service:

° The Setapp library counts 220+ apps from independent developers, including best-sellers like PDFpen, Meeter, Bartender, Newton, CleanMyMac, and more

° Setapp has extended to iPhone and iPad.

° Setapp for Teams beta was released.

° Setapp partnered with Yac to launch the ultimate Remote Work Toolkit.

° Setapp introduced Setapp Stories — a tech and business newsletter with the most notable stories for readers in an easily digestible form.

FormConnections has introduced FormConnect Pro+, the company’s form designer and form filler solution for macOS.

It’s designed to help businesses create forms for their daily jobs. Users can design their forms on any Apple platform and sync to all their other Apple devices.

FormConnect Pro+ can be purchased from the Mac App Store (an iPadOS version is available at the Apple App Store). A single license can be be purchased for US$1.99/month or $17.99/year and includes the right to download the app on the iPad. It requires macOS 11 or later and iPadOS  14.1 or later.
