Notable apps and updates: May 19

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder for Mac has been updated to version 5.9.1. The update fixes some bug issues.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder for Mac is an app for finding duplicate photos, videos, audios, documents, archives and some other types of duplicate files. It compares files byte by byte and identifies duplicate files by content. It enables users to remove unwanted duplicate files with one click.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder requires macOS 10.10 or later and costs $29.99 for one Mac/lifetime license. A demo is available for download.

CS Odessa has announced its new Energy Industry Infographics addition to ConceptDraw. It includes collections of samples and vector libraries that support many ways to professionally create graphics for the energy industry. 

The Energy Industry Infographics solutions contains nine libraries that include design elements used to design infographics, illustrations, presentations, and diagrams. Solution libraries contain a wide variety of energy industry symbols and icons.

The new addition to ConceptDraw Solutions is a paid item ($25) for current users of ConceptDraw DIAGRAM 14. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM can exchange documents with Microsoft Visio. It can open and save files that can be used by Visio (VSD, VDX, and VSDX documents) users. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM retails for $199 per end user license.

Cristallight Software has released Barcoder 3.12.9, an update of its barcode software. The product supports about 50 barcode types, QR Code, Datamatrix, GS1-Datamatrix, Aztec, UPC, ISBN, EAN, GS1-128, SSCC-18,GTIN-14,PDF417 codes among them. 

With iBarcoder you can create individual and bulk barcodes, or barcoded labels. Print, export barcode images, or barcode image sequences with information from various data sources. You can add label designs with text, images, and graphics objects. As of version 3.12.9, x, the app supports about 50 barcode types. You can create single or bulk barcodes of high quality, add label designs using built-in and custom label formats. 

iBarcoder requires macOS 10.10 or later and costs $49.95. A demo is available for download.
