Notable apps and updates: March 31

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

Cisdem has updated its ContactsMate app for macOS to version 5.7.0.

The app allows users to view, add, delete, edit, group, tag, share and export contacts. The contacts can be imported from CSV or vCARD file, or from Google, iCLoud, Exchange and other social media accounts. Version 5.7.0 is a maintenance upgrade with bug fixes.

Cisdem ContactsMate requires macOS 10.11 or later and costs US$39.99 for a lifetime license. A demo is available for download.

IGG Software has released Banktivity 8.2, a new version of their money management app.

In addition to many bug fixes, this update offers several features unique to macOS and iOS/iPadOS. The folks at IGG says version 8.2 offers over 25 new features and enhancements including new account types for Canadian & United Kingdom customers. New account types bring even more accurate money management to international customers.

Banktivity 8.2 for Mac requires macOS Catalina or higher and the iOS version requires iOS 13.5 or higher. An annual Banktivity subscription starts at j$49.99 per year. This includes Direct Access (connecting you to over 14,000 banks). A 30-day trial is available directly from banktivity.com, and Apple’s App Stores. Banktivity is ad-free.
