Notable apps and updates: March 30

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

Feral Interactive’s Fates Divided – the latest Chapter Pack for Total War: THREE KINGDOMS is out now for macOS and Linux.

Here’s how it’s described: The year is 200 CE, and two childhood friends with soaring ambitions lead their rival kingdoms down a path to all-out war. Cao Cao and Yuan Shao’s factions have been completely reworked, each with five new units, additional narratives and access to reinforcements from the mighty Northern Army for the warlord who proves himself worthy of their support.

Fates Divided brings a host of new faction mechanics, start dates, objectives and reworked systems to existing lords from the base game and previous Chapter Packs. Released simultaneously, a free update also introduces Liu Yan’s new cross-generational faction into the fray, with two unique units of their own and a brand new succession mechanic. Heaven shall be rent asunder once more.

Total War: THREE KINGDOMS – Fates Divided is available now from the Feral Store for US$9.99

iOS

Wondershare has launched Wondershare Wutsapper, an app that transfers Whatsapp data from Android to iOS devices without a computer.

Apart from text messages, it allows users to transfer their messages, emojis, photos, videos, and attachments quickly as it supports multiple WhatsApp file types.

Users can acquire the app starting at $29.95 per year. Wondershare Wutsapper supports multiple Android devices such as Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, HTC, Oppo, LG, Motorola, Sony, and more. The app supports iOS 9.0 and up to iOS14, Android 17 and up to Android 11. Note that a USB OTG cable is required to connect the Android device and iOS device when running the app.

Vweeter Limited has announced LOWER – Very Low Res Camera 1.0.9, an update to their popular low resolution video app.

It allows users to capture small videos and quickly send them to other users. LOWER can create videos in a range of low resolutions. Version 1.0.9 brings the ability to zoom in and out during recordings, the ability to select and resize multiple images and videos, and more.

LOWER – Very Low Res Camera 1.0.9 though it does promote in-app purchases. It works with iOS 10.1 or iPadOS 10.1 and higher.
