Notable apps and updates, January 7

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS

SheetPlanner Software has announced SheetPlanner 2.0, an update to their planning, project and task management application for macOS. 

The tool allows you to organize tasks, plan projects, and more. Timeline and calendar views enable users to visualize and schedule milestones and tasks. Version 2.0 brings several new features including, a free outliner, multiple sheets in each document,  advanced printing features and more.

SheetPlanner 2.0 requires macOS 10.13 or later. It’s a free update to users of 1.X and is available worldwide from the Mac App Store. A 21-day free trial is available. 

Users can continue to view and edit documents in the outline view after the trial has expired. An in-app purchase of US$49.95 will unlock the app’s full features after the trial has expired. SheetPlanner 2.0, is also available on SetApp. Review copies are available to journalists upon request.

iOS/iPadOS

Intuit Inc. has launched updated Mint experience to help people manage their finances. 

The new Mint app provides a major design refresh, new features such as subscription monitoring, an advanced month-over-month view of net worth and spending, and personalized Mintsights in a free app.
