Notable apps and updates, January 4

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder for Mac has been updated to version 5.6.0. The update adds support for Apple silicon, fixes issues and improves the user interface.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder for Mac is an app for finding duplicate photos, videos, audios, documents, archives and some other types of duplicate files. It compares files byte by byte and identifies duplicate files by content. It enables users to remove unwanted duplicate files with one click.

Cisdem Duplicate Finder requires macOS 10.10 or later and costs $29.99 for one Mac/lifetime license. A demo is available for download.

Milk Inc. has introduced Disco Fit – AR Dance Games, an interactive mobile game designed “to get you moving and grooving without leaving the comfort of your home.”

The app utilizes the front camera on your iPhone or iPad help you follow along to the guided dance moves from your favorite music. Disco Fit — AR Dance Games requires iOS/iPad OS 10.0 or later and is free (though it does offer in-app purchases).
