Ergonis Software has announced PopChar X 8.3, an upgrade of the Mac tool for finding and inserting special characters and exploring fonts.
It’s designed to make typing of unusual characters easy without having to remember keyboard combinations. Version 8.3 offers a couple of smart user interface improvements, like WYSIWYG font names, the option to remember the selected font for all applications instead of separately per application, and more.
PopChar X 8.3 requires macOS 10.6 or newer. It can be purchased on the Ergonis Software website. The upgrade is free for anyone who purchased a license for PopChar X 8 or for PopChar X 7 on or after Sept. 1, 2016. Upgrade paths are available for owners of older licenses.
EasyCut Studio has updated Easy Cut Studio, its vinyl cutting software, to version 4.103. The app is for designing and outputting vinyl and digital print graphics.
The upgrade adds support for six new vinyl cutters including Fenta SL440, SL740 and SL1320 and Mutoh ValueCut Series. Fixed FCM batch convert error.
Easy Cut Studio 4.103 is compatible with any Mac running macOS 10.6 or higher. The 4.103 upgrade is available to all current Easy Cut Studio users at no charge. New users can get all the features and updates for $59.95. A fully functional free trial version is available.
Sentry Secure Communication has released SkyVPN 1.0.5, a maintenance update to their private network application service for macOS.
The upgrade improves the user experience with minor bug fixes. SkyVPN allows you to access all content from your Mac with VPN Servers. All your information will stay safe and protected because your data will be encrypted and your online activities will remain completely anonymous, according to the folks at SkyVPN.
SkyVPN 1.0.5 is free and available worldwide exclusively through the Mac App Store. It requires macOS 10.12 or later.
Black Ridge Technologies has launched Gild – Colouring For Geeks, an adult coloring app. coloring and texture tools allow budding artists to customize artwork, save the artwork as wallpaper or lock screen, or share the artwork with friends and family via email, text, or popular social networks. Gild is free, but does tout in-app purchases.
