Notable apps and app updates for Jan. 11, 2017

On a regular basis, Apple World Today posts a list of notable new apps or app updates that have been released. They may not necessarily be new, but they’re popular and deserve mention. Here are today’s picks.

macOS Apps/Updates

EnduraData has released a file sync and online backup software for macOS, Windows, Linux, Solaris and AIX platforms. It introduces an enhanced multi-pathing replication solution for faster throughput and to insure data is delivered even when one branch of the network fails, according to Mike Praus, vice president of EnduraData.

EDpCloud will also resend data (if all networks fail) when the connection is re-established. It EDpCloud leverages parallel disk and network I/O to transmit data at a much higher speeds over available connections. A free demo is available for download.

iMobie has announced AnyTrans 5.4, a feature update to their all-in-one iPhone manager.

It was created to clone all types of items, including contacts, photos, music, messages, notes, calendar, even customized settings like wallpaper, iCloud account, sounds, and more. Version 5.4 adds a free video download feature.

Users can download AnyTrans 5.4 for both Mac and Windows from its official homepage. It’s free to use.

iOS Apps/Updates

Flutterbud has introduced Flutterbud 1.0.2. It’s free video recording app that lets you record a video and then schedule a special showtime. The video can only be viewed after the time set by the user.
