News round-up: ‘Truth Be Told’ coming to Apple TV+ on Dec. 6 (and more)

Since Steve and I can’t cover everything, we’ll frequently offer a wrap-up of news items you should check out. 

Apple celebrated “Truth Be Told” — which will debut on Apple TV+ Dec. 6 — with the global premiere of the original series at The Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Los Angeles, California. The limited drama series follows podcaster Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer) as she is compelled to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation and comes face-to-face with Warren Cave (Aaron Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. 

Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, is now available in the United States and can be accessed across a range of supported devices, including iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android smartphones, Roku streaming boxes, Amazon Fire TV, and more.

Walmart has announced a new partnership with Apple, which allows the Walmart Voice Order feature to be used with Siri.

Apple’s request for a review of a patent owned by high-performance camera maker Red relating to Rawcode RAW has failed, and Red claims that its relationship with Apple is stronger than ever, reports AppleInsider.

Apple has posted the second developer betas of iOS 13.3, iPadOS 13.3, tvOS 13.2, and watchOS 6.1.1. Registered developers can download the betas via Apple’s developer portal. Or they can be downloaded over-the-air once the proper configuration profile has been installed from the Developer Center.
