News round-up: Apple TV screensavers, Apple TV+ drama, more

As noted on Reddit, Apple has released new underwater screensavers for the Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD. 

Screen Ireland says that Apple TV+ drama “Foundation” will be filmed in the region this year and will be Ireland’s biggest production ever.

Apple supplier Japan Display has agreed a deal to receive up to 100.8 billion yen ($918.87 million) from Ichigo Asset Management,, reports Nikki Asian Review.

BusinessWeek notes that Apple faces a battle to keep the Lightning port on the iPhone as the EU pushes for a standardized phone charger that works across all smartphone brands and device types.
