NES emulator for the iPhone and iPad now available at the Apple App Store (oops; it’s gone)

The first approved Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator for the iPhone and iPad is now available on the App Store.

The first approved Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) emulator for the iPhone and iPad was briefly available on the App Store. It’s dubbed Bimmy, but Apple has already removed.

And yesterday it was announced that Apple had removed the Game Boy emulator iGBA from the App Store for violating the company’s App Review Guidelines related to spam (section 4.3) and copyright (section 5.2), but the company didn’t provide any specific details, according to MacRumors.

Apple needs to figure out its game emulator stance. This is getting a little ridiculous.
