Monoprice’s Magnetic Wireless Charging Station is a good, affordable multi-charger for three Apple devices

My favorite multi-charger stand for my Apple devices is SwitchEasy’s MagPower 4-in-1, a 40W MagSafe charging dock that charges four devices simultaneously.

However, you don’t need that much charging power and want to save some money, check out Monoprice’s US$35.99 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand, which works with an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods with just one charging cable. It supports Apple’s MagSafe tech so it works with the iPhone 12 and beyond (including the iPhone 14).

(According to Apple, MagSafe “improves wireless charging for a better, more efficient experience and introduces an ecosystem of easy-to-attach accessories”  that complement iPhone 12, 13, and 14 smartphones.” It features an array of magnets around the wireless charging coil that connect to the smartphone and provide up to 15W of power.)

To use the Monoprice charging station — which works with most MagSafe compatible phone case — you just place your phone on the magnetic pad. The coils will, thanks to MagSafe, automatically align for optimal charging speed and efficiency. The magnetic force keeps the iPhone in place so you can rotate the phone into any viewing orientation you want.
Another cool feature of the Monprice charging stand is the ability to detach the charging pad from the stand and use it as a standalone magnetic wireless charger. Even detached, it Ofers up to 15W of wireless power.

The 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Station comes bundled with the matching wall adapter, so it’s ready to use right out of the box. However, there’s no Apple Watch charger included, but , if you already have an Apple Watch charging cable, you can use it. By the way, the Monoprice’s charging station’s cable management stores away and hides the Apple Watch charger cable.

Finally, the 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Station boasts foreign object detection, radiation shielding, over-current and over-heating protection help keep your device safe.
